Objective |
To
explore the history of theatre and trace the contributions to each
period of theatre history as we see this major cultural contribution
develop from the origins of drama to the modern theatre of today.
Through a series of lectures, reading and projects we will trace the
development of theatre and its parts. |
| Attendance
and Grades |
Students
will be expect to come to class, come to class on time, and be ready
to participate and pay attention to the class and class presentations.
All assignments are due on the date assigned and late work will not
be accepted.
Grades will be based on a series of projects, papers, and exams
dealing with each period in the history of theatre that will be
studied. |
